About Me
I am a psychotherapist, supervisor, psychological trainer, and group facilitator. My aim is to work alongside you as you navigate the changes you want to make in your life, helping you move toward a more fulfilling future rather than feeling held back by what has happened in your past.
People come to therapy for many different reasons. Some are facing a crisis or a significant life event; others want to make positive changes or explore long‑standing patterns. You may be looking for short‑term support or wishing to work more deeply over a longer period. Whatever your reason, therapy offers a space that is entirely yours.
My role is to support and facilitate this process — helping you recognise your strengths, acknowledge your progress, and feel empowered in your own journey. You remain in control of what you choose to talk about and the pace at which we work.
Before moving into private practice, I worked as an occupational therapist within the NHS. I chose to specialise in mental health, gaining experience in work rehabilitation, neuropsychiatry, and the care of older adults. This background continues to inform my therapeutic approach and understanding of the whole person.
Although I work with a wide range of emotional and psychological presentations, I have developed particular expertise in trauma, psychological shame, living with disability, and supporting children and young people with their mental health.
As a practitioner, I believe that self‑care is essential. I look after my own wellbeing through a range of hobbies, reflective practices, and restorative breaks, ensuring I can be fully present and grounded in the work we do together.
